Refugee
In a news conference this morning, Bush announced preliminary efforts to "codify" heterosexual marriage. He also dropped a not-so-subtle hint that gays are "sinners." I guess someone reminded him who his masters are.
In other news, the Administration geniuses suddenly realize that pulling air marshals from transcontinental flights might not project the sort of "tough on terrorism" image Bush has cultivated over the last two years.
A question for all my overseas and Canadian readers. If Bush wins in 2004, can I come stay with you? I don't need much food and I can just sleep on the sofa. I just don't know if I can take another four years of this.

Something quite interesting has been announced in Australia... John Howard's (our priminister) son has been offered a position as in intern in Washington.
Funny.

I think your president stated traditional values and the vast majority stands behind him. It shows courage and conviction to take such a stand with all you whiney liberal types under every rock.

I think I've figured out how the democrats can win next year: in the innumerable tv commercials that will play endlessly for the last four months promoting candidates, all the dems need to do is show unedited footage of "my" president actually attempting speech. it truly is a scary sight to behold. but since this won't happen, I'm guessing Canada's going to be having an overpopulation problem soon, what with all us whiny liberals sleeping on their streetcorners.

Sure -- if Bush wins again in '04, you can have the couch. I'm in western Canada, and even from this distance, Dubya's scary enough that I can understand why you'd be considering a move.
